From seemingly simple questions like can I drink roobois tea?.. to how can I stop cramping and bleeding? I enjoy educating parents on the best strategies of eating and living through pregnancy.
Pregnancy Care
Pregnancy is a joyous time. Of course, pregnancy too does come with a lot of questions on how to optimize health of both mom and baby.
There is a lot of information out there relating to pregnancy care and sometimes it can be confusing and stressful.
I also help manage undesirable symptoms and complications of pregnancy including:
Morning Sickness
Nausea and vomiting, especially during the first trimester.
Heartburn
Due to hormonal changes and pressure on the stomach from the growing uterus.
Back Pain
Caused by changes in posture, weight gain, and loosening joints.
Gestational Diabetes
A form of diabetes that develops during pregnancy, requiring dietary management and monitoring.
Hypertension / Preeclampsia
High blood pressure that can lead to complications for both mother and baby.
Fatigue
Extreme tiredness due to hormonal shifts and increased energy demands.
Anemia
Caused by increased blood volume and sometimes iron deficiency, treated with supplements or infusions.
Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
More common during pregnancy and requiring prompt treatment.
Certification in Advanced Obstetrics
Moms-to-be can trust my advice especially because I have completed certification in Advanced Obstetrics with Dr. Cathy Carlson-Rink ND RM. Many people think very little can be done to help women through complaints of pregnancy, but the natural world has a lot to offer that is safe and effective.
